I promised that we’d review 2016, post mortem, look ahead to 2017 and determine if we should still employ Zero-RB. Since I’m struggling to find time to record a podcast, this article will have to do for the time being.
I ran through a mock draft and documented my thought processes while doing so. I did my best to explain what I was looking at within the Dashboard as things moved along, while at the same time providing some general drafting thoughts for fantasy beginners.
While I do think that there’s something to be said for trusting your gut, and there are certainly times that it makes sense to deviate from the above, this can be dangerous advice.
What is more important is developing a sound strategy and understanding the specifics of the game that you are playing. I will take this belief to the grave and have as much conviction in it as is possible for something that’s just a game.
